When it comes to setting goals, many think that they have to organize their steps from start to finish, when actually many people do the total opposite.
When designing your goal plan, make sure you think about your end goal and everything you want along with it, then think backwards on the necessary steps needed to get there.
You can achieve this by trying the following simple steps:
1. Write down your end goal, paint a picture of what it would be like to live in that goal. (This can also become a reminder for motivation towards achieving this end goal).
2. List out the things you need to do to get where you ultimately want to be. They do not have to be in any particular order for this step, just try to write most if not all of them down.
3. Once you have written them all down, now you can take that list and prioritize it according to the process and or according to what you can get done first, then second, etc...
This, to me, is the most important part of the goal plan.
4. GO AND DO THE THINGS YOU HAVE LISTED!!
There may be smaller details involved such as sub goals just to complete some of items on your to do list, but these steps should at least give you a basic game plan to start down the road towards the life you want.
Remember, a plan with no action will go nowhere.
